2 Months Old

Yes that is right... Brady is 2 months old and getting bigger and bigger. I took him to his 2 month well check at 7 weeks and he was 12lbs 15oz (95th percentile), 23 3/4 inches (90th percentile), and his head was 14cm (80th percentile). What a BIG boy!!! I don't think Tessa weighed 13lbs until she was around 6 months. How crazy... we have one Peanut and one Chunko :) I love it!!!

This month Brady started to become more alert and stay awake more. He has learned how to give us BIG smiles and has started to "talk" to us. He is getting stronger and does a good job at Tummy Time. He also likes to play on his mat and swat at his toys. He even gets lucky sometimes and actually grabs a hold of one of them every now and then. He is sleeping like a champ. His best night so far was from 10pm to 6:45am, but he usually only makes it until 5:45am. But I couldn't ask for more, especially since he falls right back to sleep and I usually end up waking him up to eat around 10am everyday. He is such a calm, kickback boy. We just love him to pieces :)

Exploring!

I am so happy we found a house that has a nice front yard and a huge backyard for our kids to play in. No more rocks and concrete for them to look at. They finally have lots of grass to tumble around in, space to run wild, and trees to one day climb in.

I always knew that Tessa liked getting out of the house and going for walks or playing outside, but until we moved to our new house I didn't realize how much she LOVES it. Everyday Tessa is dying to go outside and run around. I love listening to her excited giggle as we get our shoes on to go outside and seeing the huge smile on her face as we play, and yes it even makes me laugh (inside) when she gets so mad when it is time to come in!!! (Oh the lovely temper... she is just like her Dad!)

She has discovered so many new things being able to play in the backyard. Her favorite new spot to explore is down at the very bottom of our yard by the batting cage. She has discovered a little path just her size to walk on :) She also has room to finally ride her cars and scooters that she has been waiting to get on since she got them for her birthday.

Here are a few pictures of her exploring outside!

And don't forget Brady taking it all in while he watches his sister playing!

Picking Oranges

Tessa has found one of her favorite things to do... pick oranges off of the tree. The only funny thing is that she thinks the oranges are balls and loves to throw them or even bounce them on the ground. She is such a nut!!!

She even loves to eat them too!

Chuck E. Cheese

We went to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate cousin Caden's 5th birthday. We had lots of fun playing games. Tessa actually won more tickets than Grammy and me combined (beginners luck). She really liked the games with lots of flashing lights, go figure! We ate yummy pizza and got to see the Chuck E. Cheese birthday show. I have to admit is was a little crazy but the kids loved it. They got to dance and sing and even meet Chuck E. Cheese himself. Tessa loved him from afar but was not a huge fan of him up close. She hung on to Grammy praying she would not put her down when Chuck E. got too close. She didn't cry though! I guess it runs in the family. DJ and I both did not like him when we were little. My mom had to take me in the back to show me they were fake. But the best part of the day was that cousin Caden had a really fun birthday and we all had a great time celebrating with him. Tessa had such a good time she didn't even make it out the door awake. She fell asleep on Grampy's shoulder! Thank you Campuzano family for a fun time :)

Downtown Disney

My sister finally dragged us out of the house and away from all of the boxes to go spend the day at Downtown Disney. We had a fun time. Our big highlights were the Lego Store, Build-A-Bear, and ended with lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.

Tessa had a great time taking all of the boxes of legos off of the shelves, picking out a teddy bear, and looking at all of the cool animals at the Rainforest Cafe. She had lots of fun making her teddy bear. For those of you not familiar with Build-A-Bear it is a cute little store where you get to pick your stuff animal out and make it. There are tons of animals to choose from. Tessa originally wanted a white puppy with red and blue stars on it but with help from Auntie Jenny we got her to snuggle with a really soft teddy bear instead. Once you pick out your animal you get to take it over and stuff it. Once it is stuffed you get to put a heart inside (you give it a kiss and make a wish so it stays inside of the animal). Tessa was not very happy about putting her heart in the teddy bear. She got a little mad. If I would have known I would have just given her the heart. It would have been a lot cheaper!!! Then once your animal is stuffed you get to pick out an outfit to dress it. Tessa and I picked out a little cheerleaders outfit that are the colors of DJ's team. Tessa's cousin Abby picked out a sparkly purple dinosaur and dressed it in a Cinderella outfit. What more could you ask for? A dinosaur princess that my sister and I decided to name Cindersaurus. It fits Abby perfectly!!!

After that adventure we headed for lunch. Everyone thought the place was so cool. They got to look at fish and tons of fake animals... that is until the THUNDERSTORMS came :) My niece and nephew did not like them at all. They grabbed on to my sister and didn't want to let go. Tessa on the other hand gave me her "What was that?" look and then continued on with eating her lunch. Nothing can interrupt her eating... ha ha

Tessa as soon as we pulled out of the parking lot... now that is what we call a fun day!
