3 Months Old!
Our "little" chunko is 3 months old today! He is starting to outgrow his newborn look and is turning into a little boy right before my eyes. He is such a happy boy who smiles at everyone and loves to talk to us. He loves looking at any type of flashing light. His legs go crazy when he plays with his light-up toys. He gets so excited! It really is too cute. He is eating a ton, as you can tell, and is sleeping like a champ! I am so lucky and am praying that the time change with Japan doesn't mess this up too bad :) He is starting to get so strong. He can hold his head up and look around for so long. He is even starting to not hate tummy time so much (as long as he has a light up toy to look at to keep his mind off of it). He is learning new things all the time. This month he found his hands, starting blowing bubbles, and started to grab his toys. I can't wait to see what he will learn this next month. We are also so excited to see Daddy in a few weeks so he can show him all of his tricks in person. Daddy is going to be shocked at how big and heavy he is. He hasn't seen him since he was 2 weeks old!

We made it to Easter!!!
Tessa was feeling much better Easter morning, so we woke up and headed out for my sister's bright and early. Tessa's cousins were nice enough to wait for us to get there until we went downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny hid for them to find. The kids had a blast looking for eggs. Tessa did really well. She caught on really fast and started to find the eggs all on her own. She even found hers and Brady's basket all by herself. She was so excited to get goldfish crackers! The kids enjoyed their Easter treats from the the Easter Bunny and great grammy and great gramps. They spent the rest of the morning playing with all of their new things and trying to sneak a few more pieces of candy :)

After our big Easter morning the fun continued. We all headed over to my aunt and uncle's house for Easter dinner. We got to see most of my family over there and have yet another traditional Easter Egg hunt there. Each kid was allowed to find 6 eggs. Tessa loved finding the eggs. She would find them and then put them on the ground for the other kids to come and snatch them. I think she just loved actually finding them and throwing them around. She had no desire to see or eat the treats that were inside of them.

Overall we ended up having a great Easter weekend despite our little sickness. The only bummer was that we didn't get to celebrate with Daddy :( Maybe next year we will get to be with him!
We missed you Daddy and love you very much... xoxoxo
