Oh How I Love a Mess!!!

Just thought I would share with all of you what a MONKEY we have. She loves getting into everything and is so proud of her accomplishments! I guess you can't help but smile when you see that proud look on her face saying "Look what I can do!"

What a Big Girl!

Tessa has discovered how much fun it is to feed herself!!! Below are a few pics I took of her using her spoon. She gets so excited when the spoon actually goes in her mouth :) Lucky for us she only wants to use her spoon every now and then! It gets a little messy :)

11 Months Old!!!

This past month has been so much fun! Tessa has grown up so much and is doing so many new things. She is turning into a little girl right before our eyes :) She waves at everyone and anyone who will pay attention (that includes birds, dogs, trees, airplanes). She loves to talk and babble all the time. Her scream has gone an octave higher which makes Daddy so happy... ha ha! She loves to crawl all over the apartment and gets into everything she possibly can. She is working hard on trying to stand and walk on her own. She does awesome standing while holding on to things and loves to walk with our help. She gets really excited when she sees other kids, so I know she can't wait to get home to play with all of her friends and cousins :)

Beach Day

Yesterday DJ had the day off and we got to spend the day as a family at the beach! We don't get to do this often so we really enjoyed ourselves.

The Crazy Bike Ride...

The other night DJ decided he was going to take Tessa for a short bike ride... yikes!!!

He rode around the corner to the grocery store. He has been wanting to do this for awhile now but I wasn't too excited about the idea. (I know paranoid Mom!) But the other night was the night. Tessa seemed to enjoy herself and of course Daddy had a blast!!!

* I didn't go because I didn't want to watch so I only have pictures of the start of the ride :) The rest of the time I spent in the apartment staring out the window hoping they made it back in one piece... ha ha

DJ's Big Win!

It has been awhile since I have posted anything about DJ and baseball. (He tells me not to because he doesn't think anyone wants to hear about it!) But after his game yesterday I told him he didn't have a choice... I was going to brag about him :)
Yesterday, DJ pitched and did great. Actually for the first time, his team hit for him and they won 13-2! Wow! That never happens with his team. Since they did so well and DJ pitched great, he got his 10th win of the season! 10 wins is a great season for a pitcher, but it is awesome over here for a foreign pitcher. He is the 1st foreign pitcher to win 10 games in the past 44 years!!! They made a really big deal about it and his team was really amazed that he accomplished this. Before the season started, he set 10 wins as his personal goal and he met it. When the press asked him what helped him to get 10 wins he told them it was because his family was here this year (how nice) and then continued with so my wife cooks for me! (So I wonder if he appreciates the company or just the food... ha ha) But because of this accomplishment he was the Hero of the Game! We are so proud of him!!!
The season is not over yet so we will see what happens in the end. GO DADDY!!!!

Swimming Fun!

The other day was a beautiful day. So at the last minute I decided to let Tessa swim before her nap (the reason for no bathing suit) while I sat and read a magazine. It was so nice and relaxing :) And Tessa had so much fun!!! She was splashing the entire time and playing with all of her toys. She loved to throw her toys out of the pool and climb over to try and reach them to bring them back in the pool. She is crazy! She had so much fun she ended up swimming for 45mins until I had to pull her out to eat lunch. She is a little fish :)
