I will hopefully catch up on all of December and January now that I have a little more time on my hands... OOPS!
Back in the beginning of December we took the kids to Disneyland and California Adventures for the first time. We had so much fun!!! The parks were decorated for Christmas, which was amazing. The kids were in awe looking at everything and DJ and I got to act like kids again! Since Nana was nice enough to join us for the day DJ and I actually got to enjoy ourselves and were able to sneak away to go on a few rides on our own :) It was awesome!
Waiting to get into the park.
Our first stop was where Santa was and a few characters. Brady absolutely loved them .. but Tessa clearly not. I am surprised that none of us have scars from her holding on so tightly when they came near :)
After this stop we headed over to California Adventure for a special treat for Tessa. We made reservations for lunch at Ariel's Grotto. Here we got to eat lunch with all of the Disney Princesses. We thought Tessa was going to love it but since she was scared of the characters she was a little timid when they came to our table to say hi. But of course as soon as they walked away that was all she could talk about. So I guess it was worth it.
* If you look at the family picture with Belle, you can see Brady eyeballing the her wig... well ya he almost pulled it off of her head OMG!!!
Mommy, Daddy, and Tessa went on our first ride at Bug's Life while Brady slept.
After walking around and checking out the castle and decorations (and DJ and I went on a few of our favorite rides:), we went on It's a Small World. The kids loved this ride. Brady was in heaven and couldn't stop smiling and dancing. And Tessa just sat there checking out every last detail. It was so fun to see them enjoy themselves so much.
Playing around in Toon Town :)
The last ride we went on was Winnie the Pooh... over and over!
We ended the night watching the firework show. The kids loved it! And of course, you can't leave Disneyland without your very own mouse ears :)
Thanks for a grat time and all of the memories Disneyland... we hope to visit again soon!

A Big 1st Birthday!!!
Well Bradsters, this month you have really gotten to be a big boy. You are starting to become so independent and vocal about what you want or need. You scream when things aren't going the way you want it to or you don't get what you want. You are a feisty little bug that's for sure. You are starting to want to do things on your own. You like to feed yourself, play with your own toy, and climb and pull yourself up on everything! You love to play with your sister and think she is so funny but when she takes something from you or does something that you don't like you sure let her have it. You are starting to stick up for yourself. It's a good thing you have such a good big sister!!! You are starting to be such a big boy. You are now not only pulling yourself up on everything, you are cruising around from one place to another. You aren't walking yet but I'm sure you will be soon. You are the most determined little guy around. When you want something you won't give up until you get it. Nothing stands in your way... and if it does you go right over it :) You even try to walk up walls or counters if things are out of your reach. You still love to wander around the house getting into everything you possibly can. You have us on our toes at all times! You are still my little dancer and love to laugh and smile at everything... as long as they don't tell you no! You get so mad when you hear that word... and let me tell you, you still have the best sad face around. Every time I see your lip quiver it makes me so sad! My little mama's boy!
It is still hard to believe that 1 year has already gone by. It seems like we were just leaving the hospital to take you home. Why does time fly by so fast? We look forward to what you do this next year. We love you so much and hope you had a very Happy Birthday Big Boy!!!

Brady's Belated 11 Months
I know I am just a tad behind again... ha ha!!! I just seem to run out of time and can't catch up. I have so many things to write about and share but can't seem to find a minute to do it. So I am playing catch up and will hopefully catch up soon :)
Bradsters, this month you are starting to really adjust to our life back at home! You are getting used to having so many people around you, having room to explore, and new places to go. Your most favorite thing is having places to explore. You are still always getting into everything you are not supposed to be in. You have discovered how to get into all of the cabinets and love to play with the salad tongs, daddy's drink shakers, and all of our vitamin bottles. And if you are not in the kitchen I can find you in the bathroom trying your best to climb into the bathtub to play with all of the toys or in your sister's room playing with all of the magnets on the easel. I now know that when you are quiet you are in to something. Except a few times I have found you completely content reading books in your room enjoying being left alone :) You have become quite the little dancer this month. You can't help but shake your arms and bounce anytime music comes on (on the radio, from a toy, or even a commercial... you shake it to anything). I love to dance with you. Your arms go crazy, your feet kick away, and you laugh and laugh :) This month you celebrated your first Thanksgiving and went to Disneyland for the first time. You continue to enjoy going to your gym and music class. You are still the same smiley, happy boy but are starting to express yourself a little bit more. You still love your sister a ton and have discovered her hair. You love to touch and pull it. Tessa is so nice to you that she let's you do it as long as you don't pull it too hard :) One more month Buddy and you will be a 1 year old! Oh my!!!
