Daddy's B-Day

A little late... but better than never?

This year we actually got to spend DJ's ACTUAL birthday with him!!! He was able to stay home from a 3 day road trip he didn't have to pitch at and enjoy his special day. And to make it even better my parents got here the night before to help celebrate :)

This year we headed down to the beach for a little BBQ and drinks! The weather was nice and the evening was perfect!















We let the place know that it was DJ's birthday... so they played a Birthday song on the radio and brought over some treats and a bottle of sparkling wine (Which my Dad almost took out some innocent by-standards popping the bottle open HA HA!) I took video of most of this so not too much to see.

We had a little too much fun at the beach and got home much later than expected, so the celebrations continued the following evening. We had to eat birthday cake and open presents still!

DJ got shoes to match Brady :) And a lot of yummy treats from home!










We hope you had a good birthday Daddy! We know it is a bummer having to celebrate away from home but we tried our best to make it special. We love you!!!

Summer Beach Days

Since we live just a short walk away from the beach, we spent many days and nights down at the beach. It helped to cool us off from the horrible heat here in Japan and entertain us. The kids loved playing and digging in the sand and splashing around in the water. We still love going to our favorite spots, The Big Banana and Mama Mia's.

















On this day we went to Sunset Beach on the other side of the "island". We had a great day.












It was even windy enough to fly a kite!
