Happy Father's Day!

This year we lucked out and got to celebrate Father's Day on Father's Day!!! Last year DJ was on the road but this year he was home and actually had the day off :) We were all so excited to be able to celebrate all day long. We started our day off with a big breakfast of French toast, real bacon from home (I snuck some over because bacon here is horrible), and lots of fresh fruit.





Then we spent the rest of the morning, before the rain came, and played at the park. We played with balls, blew bubbles, and went down the slide a billion times before we headed home for lunch.

We played a little bit of soccer on the grass. We played catch and we just chased after the balls (Tessa's favorite). She gets so excited and always yells "Ball Ball".

For lunch we made mini pizzas which was lots of fun :) Then we spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out around the house because of the rain.
We had a big dinner, brownies, and presents before bed time!

They are all ready for Football Sundays in their Seahawk gear!






It was the perfect day (minus the fact that we couldn't be with our own fabulous dads and family)! We hope that DJ enjoyed his special day. It is really hard to make holidays special over here but we tried our best. We just hope he knows how much we appreciate him! Tessa and Brady are so lucky to have such an awesome Daddy :)
