Before we left Japan Tessa got her first pedicure... from Mommy :)
For her birthday she got a cool princess pedicure set. It came with purple and pink nail polish. Tessa couldn't choose which color she wanted so one foot was pink and the other is purple. She loved it! She sat still while I painted her toes and blew on her feet while she waited for them to dry. She definitely has the whole pampering thing down!

Trick Or Treat... 2010
We made it home for Halloween this year just in time :) We really didn't think we were going to make it this year but are so glad we did. The kids had such a fun time!
We made it to the pumpkin patch to pick one of the last few pumpkins there. Tessa and Brady loved looking at the pumpkins and picking the best ones. Tessa even picked out a Baby Pumpkin (as she called it). She held it the whole way home. They also were really into the decorations too! Tessa loved the talking skeleton and was so curious on how it was talking... ha ha!
Decorating Time!!!
Tessa colored her Baby Pumpkin and put Halloween stickers all over it. She did it all by herself!
Nana and Papa helped us decorate the big guys!!! We decided to take the easy route this year and bought the Mr. Potato Head kit. It was much easier and Tessa was able to help. She likes to take the pieces out and push them back in :)
Then on Halloween night we went over to my sister's to trick or treat with her family and my parents. The kids got tons of treats. As Tessa told us towards the end, when her basket was filled, that it was too heavy to carry :) She did awesome trick or treating. I wasn't sure how she would do. She tends to not take things from ANYONE... so I thought she would just stare at the people giving her candy. But as soon as she heard the word treats and got the hang of it she was really into it. She may have been the smallest out of the bunch but she always found a way to squeeze right up front to get the first treat. There were times when she actually grabbed candy out of the bowls... who does she belong to??? And she definitely didn't have patients to wait and eat her treats. She would stick them in her mouth wrapper and all. One time she started eating smarties and bit the end off of the wrapper. When DJ asked her if the plastic was in her mouth she answered "Ya" like it was no big deal :) She also figured out how to knock on the doors. She would say "knock, knock". Let's just say she was not a shy trick or treater... AT ALL!!!
Tessa was Abby Cadabby from Seasame Street and Brady was a bat :)
We hope all of you had a Happy Halloween too!
