Happy 3rd Birthday Bug

Our little Tessa turned 3! She is such a girl! She is sassy, bossy, and says what is on her mind. Is that a good thing at the ripe age of 3? I guess the nurses weren't kidding when they told us she was a dramatic one... we are in for a wild ride with our little Miss Sassy Pants :) But I have to say she is such a sweet little girl. She loves to talk, sing, dance, and keep busy. I guess that is why she finds no time for eating and sleeping LOL! She loves to help out with anything from getting Brady a toy to helping cook dinner. She is silly and loves to make us laugh. She is always running around with a smile on her face. She is VERY independent and knows what she wants. She has grown up so much this year, it surprises us how much she has learned. She definitely keeps us on our toes but we wouldn't have it any other way. We love you Tessa Girl and hope your birthday was full of fun and the next year is even better than this one.

To celebrate we had a fun filled day.
Tessa has been counting down the days until her birthday. Every night before bed she tells me my birthday is Sunday. So this morning she woke up and said "My birthday is tomorrow, Sunday! Wait Mommy is that now?" We started the day with a decorated house. We got to talk to family and enjoyed some time at the park.

Then it was off to Daddy's baseball game. We were lucky enough to get a suite and was able to have a little birthday party with our friends. We decorated birthday cookies! Daddy even got to sneak up for a little bit and join the celebration :) This made Tessa's day.

Then that night we headed out to one of our favorite places for dinner. We sat out on the balcony overlooking the harbor and city lights. Then to burn some energy we headed off to a play house and ran around there for awhile before we headed over to Baskin Robbins to pick up our ice cream cake.

Tessa spotted this Minnie Mouse ice cream cake about a month ago and has not stopped talking about it since. This was the highlight of her birthday! She could not wait to get her "Happy Birthday" home. So we finally ended the day with presents and cake.

We are exhausted but are so happy she had a fun day! Before she went to bed she said "Thank you Mommy and Daddy for my birthday! Thank you everybody! That was so much fun! I want 5 birthdays OK Mommy...Yes! Mommy Yes!!!" What a Silly Girl :)
