We made it!!!

We made it safe and sound to Tokyo!!! For those of you who do not know, DJ signed with a new team this year. He is now playing in Tokyo for the Tokyo Giants. This is a huge change for our family living here compared to life in Fukuoka. We have been here for almost 3 weeks now and we are amazed by the differences. There are so many people here who speak English, compared to the bare minimum in Fukuoka. It is so much easier shopping at the grocery store, finding somewhere to eat, and keeping the kids entertained. DJ and I look at each other all the time and are surprised to actually feel like we are at home a little, just in a different city. It makes the time go by so much faster. The other nice change is that DJ is home so much more. He doesn't have to travel as far or as often with this team, so we look forward to much more family time than we are used to. I will definitely keep you updated on all of our adventures (or at least try to)! Our trip over here went very well too. The kids did awesome, and I have to say it makes a HUGE difference only having one flight instead of 2 and miss that horrible lay over. We didn't have to struggle transporting luggage, kids, and be on a time limit. It was so much easier! But the best thing was being able to get off of the plane and see Daddy right when we arrived (and for me have an extra set of hands to carry the luggage :) Another plus was that our flight over here was amazing. We flew Singapore Air this year which made a big difference for the kids. They had more room, better food, and were WAY more relaxed with kid behavior. That was a huge stress reliever :) Here are some pictures of my professional travelers. At the ripe old age of 2 and 3 they are really getting this traveling thing down!!! It makes it much easier on Mom and Grandma (who gets stuck taking us over every year)! Hangin' in the lounge before we left
heading to the airplane
And away we go...
Daddy, we missed you SO much!!!
