A Trip to the Pet Store

We haven't really been doing too much lately... the normal going for walks, watching baseball games, and playing, but the other day DJ had a day off and since the weather was bad we decided to take Tessa out shopping and to the Pet Store!
She loves going out. She watches everyone and says "Hi!", her own special way, to everyone that passes her! It is so funny! But she also really loved looking at the animals. The pet stores here have many strange animals, some I'm not even sure what they are. Tessa got to see puppies, hamsters, birds, turtles, fish, ferrets (I think), and some other strange rodent type things that DJ said "Don't we kill those things?" when he saw them! So it was not only interesting for Tessa but for us too :) Tessa enjoyed watching the puppies jump around, hearing the birds, and seeing all of the bright colors the fish were. We will have to take her back there.

Checking out the puppies!

Holding on to Daddy praying she doesn't get eaten by the weird rodents :) ha ha

Now that was so much fun!

DJ's Baseball

DJ has been pitching really well! Unfortunately, his team can't score him any runs to help him out. If he is lucky they will score 1 or 2 runs for him but that's it. Last night he pitched and did awesome! He went 7 innings with 2 hits and 1 run. But he didn't get the win because his closer blew it in the 9th to tie the game :( The good news is that they did end up winning the game 3-2. We are proud of how well he has been doing. He has his 2 personal cheerleaders cheering him on... Tessa being the loudest!

Tessa loves the mascots... all 10 of them! She screams and gets so excited when they come by the family room.

Oh What A Life

Hooray! We found a wagon and Daddy was Mr. Handy and put it together already. It is awesome and DJ is really excited about our Costco trips now.
We have taken "Princess Tessa" out in it 2 times already. We go across the street to the park to play and blow bubbles. She is hilarious in it. She looks like the queen in a parade being pulled around.
At first she was a little unsure of it, but after you look at the pictures you can see she has no problems with it at all... do you blame her? She has got it made. Her Daddy sure does spoil her! Oh what a life...

Daddy is proud the wagon stayed together :)

Could life be any better?

Blowing Bubbles at the Park

She's Loving It!

Tessa loves the park! We try and go there every night. She loves to go down the slides, play with these spinning things, and ride the pelican :) But most of all she really just likes to watch all of the kids playing. She thinks it is so cool. She smiles and screams as the kids go by. She is my "social butterfly". Yesterday we actually met a little boy and his mom. (She is from Malaysia and her husband is from England) We are going to try and get together to play at the park sometimes! Here are some pictures.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the amazing mothers in our lives. We hope you have a wonderful day which you all deserve!
We had a great Mother's Day! Daddy and Tessa decorated the house with signs and made me cards. They were so special. Daddy had a game all day so Tessa and I got to hang out all morning and play. We had so much fun. Then we went to see the baseball game. Tessa loves to go and we got to hang out with Daddy for awhile too. After that Tessa took me out to dinner, Daddy's treat (she already knows how to work it :), at this great restaurant that has really good rotisserie chicken. Yummy! My first official Mother's Day was wonderful! I am so happy that the three of us got to celebrate together.

7 Months Old

Tessa is 7 months old today!
She is too much fun... she rolls around everywhere (and is so proud of herself when she does), sits up momentarily, and talks up a storm. She really is Little Miss Chatterbox :) I love it! She is always happy, for the most part, and loves to laugh and smile. She has discovered many new sounds, which she is perfecting, her latest is a scream that gets louder everyday. She can sit and entertain herself forever playing with her feet and toys. She loves to play with balls. She does really well grabbing them with one hand and shaking it around. She knows exactly what toy she is looking for and works really hard at trying to reach it. She scoots a lot when she is on her back to help her go places. She loves to go out on walks and observes everything. She is definitely nosy! She is also doing really well with eating. She loves all of her veggies and just started to eat her fruits this week. So far that is going well. Below are some of our favorite pics throughout the month... Enjoy!
