Yes that's right! Only in Japan would you get to celebrate Oktoberfest in May. This past week in Japan has been a week of celebration. It is known here as "Golden Week". Everyone gets a week off. It started last Wednesday and ends on Wednesday. So needless to say, everywhere you go it is very crowded! Even the post office is closed for the entire week. During this week they have lots of events, hence Oktoberfest being one of them. Since DJ was in town, for 2 nights, we decided to go check it out after his game. So Tessa got to experience her first Oktoberfest! There were bands playing, wine tasting, lots of beer, and tons of German like food. It was entertaining for the hour we were there until Tessa got bombarded by tons of people and DJ was spotted. I guess we kinda stand out, huh?
